Expo: Flora’s Feast
Orchids are exceptional plants that are famous for their eccentric shapes and colors. That the orchid also served as inspiration for the Art Nouveau movement is not surprising. Take the Paphiopedilum, which you can find in our collection. This unique orchid formed the basis for a beautiful jewel, designed by Philippe Wolfers in 1905. This jewel, and many other creations can be admired until October 9 during the exhibition “Flora’s Feast. The floral motif in Art Nouveau” in Brussels. For more information, visit their website.
